Help to save 50 new homes for homeless people!

As part of our campaign with Priced Out and YIMBY Alliance, please urgently help us to stop this unloved building being listed, blocking 50 new homes for homeless families and individuals.

You can do it easily and quickly with one or two emails, just copy and paste and change the bits in bold:

To Historic England via email at listing.enquiries@historicengland.org.uk

Dear Historic England

I oppose the listing of the current building of 2 Chester Road in Camden because [delete/amend as applicable]

  • It would block 50 new homes for the homeless

  • The existing building is unloved and was not even listed as a positive contribution in the conservation area assessment

  • The building is not a good example of the architect's work

  • The building has little or no historic significance because there are far more important examples of the architect's and the council's work from that era

  • Listing the building will harm the environment because it will mean that fewer people will live in a place where they can walk and use public transport to meet their needs.

Please proceed quickly to a determination that the building should not be listed.

Yours faithfully
